Communications Officer (Full-Time) EmployAbility Clare EmployAbility Clare is seeking to recruit a Communications Officer to support the continued development and growth of the service. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in strengthening employer engagement, enhancing communications, and promoting inclusive employment opportunities for people with disabilities. The Communications Officer will lead on employer engagement across County Clare, developing and maintaining strong relationships with local employers and supporting inclusive recruitment practices. The role will involve coordinating a structured approach to employer outreach, working closely with Employment Coaches to identify and develop employment opportunities for clients. In addition, the Communications Officer will be responsible for managing the organisation’s communications and marketing activities. This includes developing and delivering communications strategies, managing social media and digital platforms, creating promotional content, and supporting campaigns to raise awareness of the service and its impact. The role will also involve engagement with key stakeholders, including referral partners, community organisations, and external agencies, supporting the development of strong partnerships and a consistent pipeline of referrals to the service. The Communications Officer will manage the referral pipeline, including leading initial client meetings and maintaining accurate, up-to-date records on the CRM system. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, experience in communications, marketing or stakeholder engagement, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment. Strong organisational skills and a proactive approach are essential. This is a full-time position based in Ennis, County Clare, with travel required. Interviews will be held in Ennis on Wednesday 22nd April.
