The Paediatric Occupational Therapist will provide assessment, intervention, and rehabilitation services for children with a variety of developmental and medical needs. This is an on-site role based in Swords, with responsibilities that include collaborating with families and other professionals, developing personalized treatment plans, tracking progress, and promoting skill development in children. The therapist will also contribute to team discussions and assist in addressing unique child-specific challenges. This is a full-time position.

Education requirements*:-
Experience and expertise in Occupational Therapy, including assessment, intervention planning, and rehabilitation services
Knowledge of Paediatrics and Medicine as they relate to child development and care
Strong Communication skills to collaborate effectively with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams
Ability to create child-centered, evidence-based treatment plans with a focus on meeting client-set goals
Relevant academic qualifications, such as a degree in Occupational Therapy
Registration or eligibility for membership with relevant professional bodies
Experience working with children with diverse developmental needs is an advantage
Commitment to maintaining a high standard of care and professional development
Applications from non-EEA qualifications or EEA qualifications of non-EEA nationals will be assessed in line with the processes of the validation unit of the Department of Health.

Salary: According to HSE Pay Scales and based on experience
Hours per week: 35 to 40
Driver’s license preferable (but not necessary)
Good command of the English language
