Surface preparation: Sand, fill, and mask surfaces to ensure they are smooth and protected before painting.
Painting: Apply primer, base coats, and finishing coats using spray equipment, often applying multiple coats for durability and a quality finish.
Quality control: Inspect the finished work for imperfections and ensure it meets all quality standards.
Maintenance: Clean spray guns, paint booths, and other equipment to keep them in good working order.
Safety: Follow all health and safety guidelines, which often includes wearing protective gear like masks and goggles. 

Skills and qualifications
Technical proficiency: Experience operating and maintaining spray painting equipment.
Attention to detail: High level of accuracy to ensure a flawless finish.
Physical stamina: The ability to stand for long periods and work in potentially noisy and dirty environments.
Colour theory: Knowledge of how to mix and match colours accurately.
Problem-solving: The ability to assess damage, determine appropriate repair methods, and problem-solve as needed.
Teamwork: Ability to follow instructions and work effectively with others.
