The Warehouse Manager is responsible for planning, organising, directing and coordinating all warehouse operations to ensure the safe and efficient receipt, storage, warehousing and distribution of goods while maintaining stock at optimal levels.  Key Responsibilities Tasks: Coordinate with production, maintenance, sales, and other departments to determine current and future material requirements based on production schedules and sales commitments  Develop, review, and implement stock control, handling, and distribution policies that maximise the efficient use of space, financial resources, and labour  Ensure regular stock inspections are conducted to identify and address any deterioration or damage  Skills & Competencies Excellent organisational and planning abilities  Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively across departments  Analytical mindset with the ability to prepare detailed reports and make data-driven decisions  Problem-solving skills and attention to detail  Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines  Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage a team  decides on storage conditions for particular items, allocates warehouse space and arranges for regular stock inspections to detect deterioration or damage.
