The Healthcare assistant’s primary role is to deliver personal care and assistance to a client in his/her own home. Healthcare assistants are responsible for the implementation of the requirements of the clients care plan, perform identified care duties and promote client comfort, dignity and wellbeing. Your responsibilities will include-Assist the client with Activities of Daily Living, Pay due care and attention to all aspects of care duties carried out on behalf of the client, Provide a high standard of care in compliance with Bluebird Care Policies.
Qualifications and Experience:
Healthcare assistants must have obtained the QQI approved Level 5 Modules Care of the "Older Person" and "Care Skills/Healthcare Support" (or equivalent) or have a minimum of one-year experience caring for others and be in a position to undertake the two modules outlined above.
Healthcare Assistants must hold a full driving licence. Non-EEA candidate must hold a full International driving licence and be willing to obtain a full Irish Driving Licence within 6 months of arriving in Ireland
Permanent Job with flexibility, you must have good availability which is a requirement.
Attractive salary and employee benefits offered. Minimum annual remuneration: €32,691 per year based on 39 hours per week. The minimum annual remuneration may be subject to upward revision based on qualifications, experience, and job performance
Applicants must pass our full Recruitment and Training plan which included Garda vetting and/or International Police Clearance if you lived abroad for more than 6 months.
