Kealey Transport is hiring for an HGV Mechanic (Heavy Goods Vehicle) who is enthusiastic, capable, and reliable. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing heavy goods vehicles to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards. Key Responsibilities • Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on HGVs • Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment • Carry out inspections in line with legal and company standards • Repair or replace defective parts, including engines, brakes, transmissions, and suspension systems • Ensure all work is completed efficiently and within set deadlines • Maintain accurate service and repair records • Adhere to all health and safety regulations Requirements • Proven experience as an HGV Mechanic / Technician • Relevant qualification in vehicle mechanics (desirable but not essential) • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Knowledge of safety and compliance standards • Good communication skills
