Manufacturing Chemist & Quality Control Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
Manufacturing and Production - 
Carry out bulk manufacturing of skincare batches.
Execute cleaning protocols for machines and equipment.

Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) -
Conduct Quality Checks (QC) on all incoming raw materials and packaging, and maintain inspection records.
Carry out full product testing, sampling, and accurate test recording.
Conduct final batch checks and authorize the release of batches.
Carry out expiry date testing.
Perform required weekly cleaning schedules.

Compliance and Documentation -
Create and maintain product documentation in line with the 1223/2009-EN-Cosmetic Products Regulation.
Prepare and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Manufacturing Practice records, and training records.
Ensure diligent record keeping across all stages of production and quality control.
Manage and process complaints and associated reports.

Research & Development and Formulation - 
Conduct comprehensive ingredient research, with a focus on ethical sourcing.
Develop new cosmetic formulations and execute laboratory trials.

Required Qualifications & Experience:
Must be a qualified Chemist (minimum BSc)
Demonstrable experience in Cosmetic Formulation.
Proven experience in skincare batch manufacture.
Proficiency with Google Workspace and Google Drive applications.

Exceptional attention to detail, critical for maintaining high standards of quality and regulatory compliance.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot formulation and manufacturing issues.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for creating clear documentation and reporting.

Working Hours, Location & Salary:
Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (4.00PM on Friday)
