Hibernia Steel Products Ltd wishes to hire multiple candidates for the position of Welder/Fabricator as outlined below:

The Welder Fabricator is responsible for fabricating, assembling, and welding metal components and structures according to engineering drawings and technical specifications. The role involves working with different metals and welding processes to produce high-quality fabricated products used in construction, manufacturing, or industrial applications.

The Welder Fabricator must ensure all work is completed safely, accurately, and in accordance with quality standards and project requirements.

Candidates should have experience in either or all of the following industries:

Shipyard / Shipbuilding Welding and Fabrication

Industrial Manufacturing Welding

Structural Steel Fabrication

Key Responsibilities

Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and fabrication diagrams

Measure, cut, and prepare metal materials according to specifications

Perform welding using MIG, TIG, Stick (SMAW), or Flux-Cored welding techniques

Fabricate and assemble metal frames, structural components, and equipment parts

Operate fabrication machinery such as:

Cutting machines

Grinders

Drilling machines

Press brakes

Metal saws

Fit and align metal components prior to welding

Inspect welds to ensure strength, alignment, and quality standards

Perform repairs and modifications to existing metal structures

Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition

Follow workshop safety procedures and PPE requirements

Work with supervisors, engineers, and other technicians to complete fabrication tasks efficiently

40 hours per week.
