Position: Welder/ Alloy Wheel Repair Specialist (plus General Garage Duties)
Location: Limerick Road, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary

Compensation & Hours:
 Salary: €36,605 per annum
 Working Hours: 39 hours per week
Role Overview:
We are looking for a proficient Welder specialized in alloy wheel repairs to join Nenagh Tyre Centre. The main focus of this role is high-precision welding and structural restoration, combined with essential daily garage operations.
Key Responsibilities:
 Expert Alloy Welding: Perform intricate TIG welding to repair cracked or damaged alloy wheels. You will be responsible for achieving deep penetration and seamless fusion while managing heat to prevent warping and ensure the structural integrity of the wheel is fully restored.
 Precision Repair & Safety: Maintain exceptionally high standards of repair across all tasks, ensuring every weld is road-safe, durable, and finished to a professional standard.
 General Garage Duties: Assist with full tyre services, including fitting, balancing, and installation.
 Routine Maintenance: Carry out general vehicle servicing such as oil/filter changes and brake repairs (pads/discs) as needed.
Requirements:
 Specialised Welding Expertise: Proven experience in welding, with a strong preference for aluminum/alloy TIG welding.
 Technical Skillset: Ability to assess wheel damage and determine the best repair method, alongside general mechanical and tyre servicing skills.
 Safety Conscious: A disciplined approach to maintaining high repair standards and workshop safety.
 Flexibility: A proactive "can-do" attitude toward both specialized welding projects and general garage tasks.
