Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Applicants should supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.



Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. 

Duties to include working with young people in a community setting with the North Tipp Traveller Project. This will include group work and activities. Candidates must be capable of organising, implementing and evaluating activities planned for young people. Candidates must be a team player and participate in team activities. In addition candidate must be willing to undertake specified training relevant to the area of work and be flexible in relation to working hours as evening and weekend work will be a requirement.
