Duties
This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.
This position will be based primarily with Barnardos and carry out some maintenance work for Youth Work Ireland Tipperary, Thurles projects. Duties will include: -General maintenance and upkeep of Barnardos and youth service centres in Thurles. -Carry out general repairs such as painting, decorating, and basic carpentry -To keep the environs of Barnardos and youth service centres in good order by maintaining the surrounding areas, sweeping, collecting litter, weeding and cutting of any grass areas -Moving items such as furniture and equipment -Power washing of Barnardos and youth service buildings and grounds as required -Any other tasks as assigned by management and line manager Applicants must supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.
