The role of the Healthcare Assistant is to assist the Nursing Staff in the delivery of resident / patient care and to work under the supervision and direction of the Nurse Manager and the Staff Nurses. Skills required A kind and caring manner, a willingness to perform personal care tasks, Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. The capacity to act with sympathy and compassion. Patience and trustworthiness. A quick learner with excellent communication skills commitment to provide a quality service to residents. ability to work as part of a team. Qualification : Minimum FETAC/QQI level 5 qualification or equivalent Minimum 1 years experience working as a Health Care assistant or in a similar role involving direct client/resident care. Annual salary of €32691 per annum (based on 39 hours per week)
