Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Duties
This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.
The main duties of this position would be to help with general maintenance at Grantstown Day Care Centre. Successful candidates would work as part of the team structure within Grantstown to help the smooth day to day running of the centre. This position will allow the participant to gain experience maintaining the grounds in Grantstown. It will give responsibility to make sure the outdoor areas are safe, clean and attractive for service users. The participant will get experience keeping the area tidy, free of litter, cutting grass and shrub maintenance as well as making sure all paths are safe for service users to use. They will also do building and grounds checks on a regular basis to identify repairs. This position will also allow the candidate to be responsible for keeping the vehicles clean and will get the opportunity to drive the vehicles (with the relevant licence) or to engage in training while on the scheme to gain the necessary licence catagory.
