Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Applicants should supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.



Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. 

If you are interested in the caring profession or becoming a carer then this is a fantastic opportunity for you.  The role includes full training to qualify as a carer while also having the day to day experience of working in a busy day care centre for older adults.  Successful candidates will also be required to drive the company vehicles if they have the relevant licence and if they don't they will get the opportunity to train to gain the necessary licence.
