We are seeking an experienced  Project Engineer  Senior Position to lead the delivery of complex industrial utilities and process optimisation projects, including steam, compressed air, pumping, heat recovery, motors, VSDs and process control systems.

This is a highly visible, client-facing role where you will manage projects from concept and design through installation, commissioning and handover, working directly with industrial customers, subcontractors, suppliers and internal engineering teams.

This role is ideal for a senior engineer who enjoys hands-on site delivery, technical problem solving, project leadership and driving measurable energy savings in industrial environments.

The Opportunity
- You will lead industrial decarbonisation and energy efficiency projects focused on:
- Steam and boiler optimisation
- Compressed air system improvements
- Pump and motor efficiency upgrades
- Heat exchanger and heat recovery projects
- Condensate return and flash steam recovery
- Process control and instrumentation upgrades
- Mechanical utilities installations and retrofits

Key Responsibilities
- Lead assigned projects from scope through installation and completion
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, internal engineers and site teams
- Manage budgets, project schedules and client communication
- Oversee installation planning, commissioning and site execution
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget
- Drive problem resolution across technical and operational workstreams
- Monitor project costs, forecast spend and implement corrective actions where required
- Maintain high customer-service standards and strong client relationships
- Support continuous improvement across project delivery systems and standards
- What We’re Looking For

Essential
- Degree in Mechanical, Process, Energy or related Engineering discipline
-5+ years’ experience delivering industrial engineering or CAPEX projects
- Strong client-facing project leadership experience
- Experience managing subcontractors and multi-disciplinary site teams
- Proven budget ownership and schedule management capability
- Experience in one or more utility systems: Steam/boilers, Compressed air, Pumps, Heat exchangers, Motors / VSDs, Piping systems, Process controls/instrumentation, 
- Full driver’s licence and own transport

Desirable 
- PMP certification
- AutoCAD (2D)
- CDM / Health & Safety knowledge
- Experience in manufacturing, pharma, food, beverage, medical devices or heavy industrial environments
