We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant (HCA) to provide high-quality, person-centred care to our clients. This role involves supporting clients with daily living activities, personal care, emotional well-being, and social engagement, helping them to live safely and comfortably.
Key Responsibilities
 Provide personal care, including bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, and oral hygiene.
 Assist with mobility, transfers, and use of mobility aids, ensuring safety and dignity.
 Support clients during meals, considering dietary requirements and preferences.
 Promote independence and assist with clients’ emotional, social, and recreational needs.
 Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment, including bedrooms and communal areas.
 Observe and report changes in clients’ health, behaviour, or well-being to senior staff.
 Contribute to care plans and maintain accurate records.
 Uphold clients’ privacy, dignity, and rights at all times.
 Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver consistent, high-quality care.
Requirements
 Experience in a care role is desirable.
 Training in first aid, manual handling, or safeguarding is an advantage.
 Compassion, patience, and excellent communication skills.
 Ability to work as part of a team and follow care plans accurately.
Additional Information
 Shift work may be required, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
 The role involves some physical effort, including assisting with mobility and transfers.
