Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. 

 Order Fulfillment (Picking & Packing): Accurately selecting stock from pick sheets
and packing crates securely to ensure food reaches charity partners in top
condition.
 Stock Management (Ambient, Chill, Frozen): Assisting in the intake of donations,
verifying quantities, and learning to store items in the correct temperature zones
to maintain the cold chain.
 Team Collaboration: Working alongside and guiding volunteers, fostering a
supportive and inclusive environment that aligns with FoodCloud’s values.
 Safety & Compliance: Adhering to HACCP and Health & Safety regulations,
ensuring a "safety first" culture through correct manual handling and hazard
reporting.
 Logistics Support: Safely loading and unloading vehicles, ensuring weight is
balanced and loads are secured for transit.
 Operational Standards: Maintaining a clean, hazard-free warehouse floor and
performing weekly hygiene cleans of the delivery vehicles.
 Equipment Handling: Developing proficiency in the safe operation of manual
pallet trucks to move heavy stock efficiently.
 Driving Duties (If Qualified): Providing occasional driving support for local
collections and deliveries for those with a valid licence
