J.M.S. Haulage Limited are recruiting HGV Drivers.
Key Requirements: Candidates must hold a valid HGV licence CE and have relevant driving experience, ideally in agricultural or milk collection work. A good understanding of rural driving conditions and farm environments is essential. Applicants should be reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently, with strong time management and communication skills. Knowledge of hygiene standards for food-grade transport is desirable.
Key Responsibilities: The role involves collecting milk from farms and transporting it safely to processing facilities while maintaining strict hygiene and quality standards. Drivers are responsible for operating vehicles safely on rural routes, ensuring accurate collection records, and interacting professionally with farmers. Daily vehicle checks must be completed and any defects reported promptly. This role is tachograph exempt; however, all work must be carried out in line with relevant transport and safety regulations.
