The Ashford House Nursing home is a Elderly care facility in 6 Tivoli Terrace East, Dun Laoghaire, Dublin A96 T853 looking helathcare assitants The successful applicant will work as part of the Nursing and Care team at the Ashford house Nursing home to implement the Care of Residents, under the supervision of, and reporting to the Nurse in charge. Health Care Assistants are well supported in this team with clear policies and guidelines pertaining to their role. Ongoing training pertinent to the role is available in house. Knowledge Required: Candidates must have a certificate in FETAC /QQI Level 5 or equivalent. Skills Required Excellent communication skills, organisational skills, ability to use initiative, good command of the English language, essential, written and spoken. Attitude required Candidates must be flexible and available to work allocated hours including evenings, nights and weekends Willingness to learn new knowledge and skills relevant to the job through; Online, in house training and supervision.
