Safety Manager required to work at Resley de Souza & Rienia Ferreira, located at 8 Cluain Aodha, Ballyhugh, Gort, Galway, Ireland. The candidate must have at least two years of experience in a similar role. Duties include: developing, implementing, and monitoring health and safety policies and procedures in accordance with Irish legislation and industry standards; conducting risk assessments related to cleaning operations, including manual handling, use of chemicals, and equipment handling; ensuring compliance with COSHH regulations and safe handling of cleaning substances; designing and delivering safety training programmes for staff, promoting a strong safety culture; carrying out regular inspections and audits across client sites to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are implemented; investigating incidents and near misses, preparing reports and recommending preventative measures; maintaining accurate health and safety records, including risk assessments and training documentation; liaising with clients and regulatory bodies on safety matters; ensuring the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE); continuously reviewing and improving safety procedures in line with operational growth and industry developments.
