Stafford Bonded requires multiple Maintenance Fitters for their premises at Lockheed Avenue, Airport Business Park, Waterford, X91 R2Y0, Ireland The salary range starts from €36,000 to €56,000 based on a 39-hour week. Salary will increase proportionately if additional hours are required. Salary offered shall be based on relevant experience and qualifications. Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and qualified Maintenance Fitter to carry out preventative and reactive maintenance on mechanical systems and equipment across our manufacturing or industrial facilities. The successful candidate will ensure optimal equipment performance, minimise downtime, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine mechanical maintenance on plant and machinery Diagnose and repair mechanical faults (e.g. motors, pumps, gearboxes, conveyors) Install, assemble, and commission new mechanical systems Carry out preventative maintenance schedules and inspections Read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical documentation Collaborate with production teams and contractors as required Ensure compliance with Health and Safety and HSA regulations Maintain accurate maintenance logs and reports Participate in continuous improvement and lean maintenance projects
