Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Applicants should supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.



Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. 

A genuine interest in working with children, flexibility and have a good command of the English language, written and spoken.

Duties to include:
To work as part of a childcare team in the day to day running of a preschool for children aged 2.5 to 5 years. 
To support the children and meet their developmental needs.
To assist in planning, implementing and evaluating developmentally appropriate activities and ensure hygiene and safety standards are maintained.
