No. 9789696A) Number of Vacancies: 15 Job Type: Full-Time Salary: €36,605 per annum Hours: 39 hours per week Locations: Dublin (Dublin 15 & Dublin 8), Limerick, Cork, Portlaoise Start Date: August 31st 2026 Job Description ABA Tutors will work with children aged 3–6 years with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), supporting their learning and development through structured educational and behavioural programmes. Key duties include: • Implementing individualised ABA-based learning and support programmes • Supporting children’s communication, social, and developmental goals • Collecting, recording, and maintaining accurate progress data • Working closely with teachers, therapists, and other professionals as part of a multidisciplinary team • Supporting the delivery of structured learning activities in a safe and supportive environment • Assisting in maintaining behavioural support strategies consistent with individual plans Minimum Qualifications A Level 7 or higher qualification in: • Primary Education • Early Childhood Education Essential Experience and Skills Candidates should be able to demonstrate previous experience in: • Working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and/or additional educational needs • Supporting structured teaching, learning, or intervention programmes • Implementing individualised support plans, including behavioural, developmental, or learning-based programmes • Working with children aged 3–6 years in a structured educational or therapeutic setting • Collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team, including educators, therapists, and care staff • Recording observations and maintaining accurate progress tracking and documentation • Applying strategies to support communication, behaviour, and social development needs Essential Criteria: Essential Requirements • Registration with the Teaching Council of Ireland, or eligibility to register • Qualifications recognised by DCEDIY, with supporting documentation • Spoken and written English language proficiency (or have a proof of a minimum of C1 in the International English Language Testing System (IELTS). • Strong commitment to working with children with autism and additional educational needs Application Method - Applicants must submit: • CV • Qualification certificates • Teaching Council registration/eligibility proof • DCEDIY recognition letter • Proof of English language proficiency Email applications to: hopeadminoffice@hopechildcare.ie or felicia.dejicoo@hopechildcare.ie Hope Autism Care Centre provides an ongoing trainings and opportunities for further development to staff.
