Job Description
ABA Tutors will work with children aged 3–6 years with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), supporting their learning and development through structured educational and behavioural programmes.
Key duties include:
•	Implementing individualised ABA-based learning and support programmes
•	Supporting children’s communication, social, and developmental goals
•	Collecting, recording, and maintaining accurate progress data
•	Working closely with teachers, therapists, and other professionals as part of a multidisciplinary team
•	Supporting the delivery of structured learning activities in a safe and supportive environment
•	Assisting in maintaining behavioural support strategies consistent with individual plans
Minimum Qualifications
A Level 7 or higher qualification in:
•	Primary Education
•	Early Childhood Education

Essential Experience and Skills
Candidates should be able to demonstrate previous experience in:
•	Working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and/or additional educational needs
•	Supporting structured teaching, learning, or intervention programmes
•	Implementing individualised support plans, including behavioural, developmental, or learning-based programmes
•	Working with children aged 3–6 years in a structured educational or therapeutic setting
•	Collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team, including educators, therapists, and care staff
•	Recording observations and maintaining accurate progress tracking and documentation
•	Applying strategies to support communication, behaviour, and social development needs

Essential Criteria:

Essential Requirements
•	Registration with the Teaching Council of Ireland, or eligibility to register
•	Qualifications recognised by DCEDIY, with supporting documentation
•	Spoken and written English language proficiency (or have a proof of a minimum of C1 in the International English Language Testing System (IELTS). 
•	Strong commitment to working with children with autism and additional educational needs
