Job Description
First Year Apprentice Vacancy
Apprentice Toolmaker required for a well-established toolroom in Shannon

Key Responsibilities/Daily Duties
The successful candidate will begin as a machine operator progressing to CNC programmer/engineer throughout the apprenticeship.

•    Working alongside our Engineers machining and assembling parts for fixtures and jigs 
•    Receive basic training in programming parts on CNC machines
•    Using machine and hand tools
•    Enjoy working as part of a team
•    Be able to work using own initiative and be self-motivated
•    Show attention to detail with a high regard for the quality of workmanship
•    Have an awareness of health and safety in the workplace

Qualifications and Skills
•    Leaving Certificate 
•    Strong written and verbal communication skills
•    Excellent time management and organizational skills

Full-Time, Days - 39hrs per week, Mon-Fri.
