Healthcare Assistant (HCA) Intellectual Disability Services | Dublin Salary: €32,000 – €38,000 (DOE) Hours: 12-hour shifts | 35 hours per week Locations: Services across Dublin Contract: Fixed-term with potential to become permanent Consistency, Structure and Opportunity This role offers: Access to multiple service locations across Dublin 12-hour shifts (fewer working days) A clear route to permanency Ongoing training and support You’ll support individuals with intellectual disabilities, helping them live with independence, dignity and routine. What You’ll Do Support daily living, personal care and routines Encourage independence and participation Assist with community engagement and activities Follow care plans and behavioural supports Work within a structured, supportive team What You’ll Need QQI Level 5 (or equivalent) Experience in disability or care settings Ability to work 12-hour shifts Manual Handling & First Aid (in date or willing to update) What You’ll Get Strong opportunity for a permanent role Flexibility across Dublin locations Predictable roster and structured working week Ongoing training, CPD and supervision
