Healthcare Assistant (HCA) Intellectual Disability Services | South Dublin Salary: €32,000 – €38,000 (DOE) Hours: 12-hour shifts | 35 hours per week Contract: Fixed-term with potential to become permanent Stability, Structure and Support This role offers: A clear path to permanency 12-hour shifts (fewer working days) On-site parking Access to training and certification refreshers You’ll support individuals with intellectual disabilities, helping them live with independence, dignity and routine. What You’ll Do Support daily living, personal care and routines Encourage independence and participation Drive individuals to appointments and activities Follow care plans and behavioural supports Work within a consistent, supportive team What You’ll Need QQI Level 5 (or equivalent) Experience in disability or care settings Full driver’s licence (essential) Ability to work 12-hour shifts Manual Handling & First Aid (in date or willing to update) What You’ll Get Strong opportunity for a permanent role On-site parking Predictable roster and structured working week Ongoing training, CPD and support
