Social Care Worker Intellectual Disability Services | Dublin Salary: €38,000 – €52,000 (DOE) Hours: 12-hour shifts | Full-time Contract: Fixed-term with potential for permanency Real Social Care Practice – Not Task-Based Work This role is designed for qualified Social Care Workers who want to work in a structured, rights-based environment. You will support individuals with intellectual disabilities, focusing on: Independence Inclusion Personal development This is relationship-based, professionally accountable work, aligned with best practice and regulatory standards. What You’ll Do Develop and deliver person-centred support plans Advocate for rights, choice and autonomy Support individuals in daily life, community engagement and development Work within HIQA-regulated standards and governance frameworks Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team What You’ll Need Degree in Social Care (Level 7/8) Eligible for or registered with CORU Experience in disability or social care settings Ability to work 12-hour shifts Manual Handling & First Aid (in date or willing to update) What You’ll Get Clear opportunity for a permanent role Structured roster and supportive team environment Ongoing CPD and career progression Work that has real, measurable impact
