Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. 

Driver & General Maintenance /Outdoor worker for Wexford Local Development's Community Services 

Requirements
A van driver with a full B driver's licence is required and a reasonable level of DIY skills are an advantage but not essential. Full Training will be provided to support your career.
Duties will Include:

Cutting and strimming grass. Digging weeds, spraying, maintaining and watering flowers and shrubs.
Carrying out small DIY and repair and maintenance type jobs for older people
Driving the van, full B drivers licence required.
Be helpful, friendly and respectful when dealing with clients.
Complete relevant paperwork
Carry out all reasonable requests of the CE Supervisor and undertake any other reasonable duties as required.
