Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Applicants should supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.



Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. 

Assisting and delivering programmes including educational, social and recreational projects in the community centre.
Driving or assisting the driver to collect and transport members, assisting with outings and community activities.
Supporting members with a physical/sensory disability to participate fully in programmes and provide individual supports to members when needed including personal care. Duties include preparing and cleaning activity rooms and managing programme supplies

This is a developmental role (no experience required) offering accredited training at QQI levels and hands on experience designed to help participants gain full time employment.
