Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.

Working as part of an experienced and dedicated team to maintain our multi-award winning organic community garden and woods.  You will assist us to keep our beautiful heritage village clean and tidy.

Duties:
- General upkeep of the community garden and woodland walkway at the 
 south side of the village
- Follow a schedule of seasonal work - daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly
- Digging and moving soil 
- Hedge trimming and grass cutting
- Lawn maintenance
- Keeping pathways clean and clear
- Litter picking in the garden and village
- Planting and watering trees, flowers and vegeables
- Weeding
- Cleaning and maintenance of our fishpond
- Safe use, handling and storage of all garden tools and equipment
- Assist with setting up and clearing up at our community events, e.g. Christmas, Hallowe'en etc.

This position is based in Julianstown, Co. Meath.
