Job Title: Baker
Employer: Benjamin Food Solutions Limited  trading as Cameron Fine Home Bakery
Location: Unit 29 Eastgate Drive Little Island Co. Cork T45 YD72
Salary: €36,605 per annum
Working Hours: 39 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, mix, portion, and bake a variety of doughs and bakery products, including breads, pastries, cookies, and other baked goods, in accordance with established recipes.
Ensure all products are baked to the required standards for taste, texture, appearance, and freshness.
Monitor oven temperatures, baking times, and production schedules to ensure optimal baking conditions.
Scale and portion doughs accurately to maintain consistency in product size, weight, and quality.
Assist with finishing, glazing, decorating, or filling products as required.
Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organisation in all kitchen and production areas in line with food safety and hygiene regulations.
Manage and monitor inventory of ingredients and baking supplies, reporting shortages when necessary.
Assist with packaging, labelling, and preparing baked goods for dispatch or delivery.
Collaborate with team members to develop and test new products, flavours, and recipes.
Ensure daily production targets are met efficiently and on time.
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, health and safety standards, and quality control requirements.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Baker or in a similar bakery production role.
Strong knowledge of baking techniques, dough handling, and bakery equipment.
Ability to read, understand, and accurately follow recipes and production instructions.
High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
Good communication skills.
