Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Applicants should supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.



Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. 

The successful candidate will assist in maintaining and ensuring that the building and perimeter is kept to a high standard of professional hygiene at all times. You will engage in training that will give you accredited qualifications and an understanding of the cause and prevention of infection and its control. You will also gain some experience in assisting with large groups while helping to maintain a clean and safe environment where young people enjoy activities. Adhoc catering opportunities will arise and you will be offered an opportunity to develop skills in food safety management in line with HACCP regulations.
