Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. 

This position is mainly that of Caretaking duties which include cleaning all areas inside the local Community Hall, window cleaning of low windows etc. opening and locking up the main door on occasions.  Occasional painting and maintenance work when and if required.  Pesticide spraying and power washing the yard etc.  

This role also includes external environmental work both in and around Athenry.  This work includes but is not limited to, pesticide spraying, weeding, strimming, mowing grass etc.
