Chef de Partie required to work at Salthill Hotel, located at Rockbarton W, Salthill, Galway, Co. Galway, H91 DD4V, Ireland. The candidate must have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role. Duties will include reporting for duty on time and in the correct uniform; preparing fresh food and ensuring plating to a high standard; maintaining high levels of food quality and presentation; taking direction from the Head Chef and assisting the kitchen team in food preparation and food service within a busy hotel environment; ensuring stock is properly rotated and monitored; ensuring HACCP documentation is completed and kept up to date during each shift; ensuring guests’ needs and requirements are met to a high standard; maintaining high standards of personal hygiene and grooming at all times; ensuring compliance with company policies relating to Fire, Health & Safety, Hygiene, Food Hygiene, Customer Care and Security; reporting incidents, accidents or damages and taking appropriate action where possible; attending training courses as required by management; and carrying out other related duties as directed by management. The ideal candidate will be passionate and enthusiastic about food, capable of working under pressure, able to organise and work independently. Culinary arts training would be an advantage.
