This Work Placement Experience Programme provides Participants with an opportunity to gain meaningful work experience, learning and training while on the programme. This programme is for jobseekers who are in receipt of qualifying social welfare payments and those transferring from a social welfare scheme or an ETB Training Allowance. Your eligibility for this programme will be verified by the Department as part of the application process. 


The participant will gain experience in many areas. Training will be provided in basic nail care treatments, shellac, brow services, lash lifts, threading, tinting & daily running of salon.  The participant will receive both formal and informal training and work alongside, be guided and mentored by the leading skin and beauty team. 

You will gain practical experience in answering phones and client communication, front of house/reception duties including checking clients in, booking appointments and retail sales.  
This is a training and work experience opportunity; no prior experience in this role is necessary. Accredited and/or sector recognised training will be provided to support your placement. This is an opportunity for participants eligible or who require the WPEP QQI Work Experience Module which was developed by the Education & Training Boards in collaboration with the Department of Social Protection. This optional module will fulfil your accredited training requirements for the WPEP.

Salon Booking system
Epilation services to include Waxing & Threading Services

Informal On site training
Eyebrow service to include tinting, lamination & Henna Brows
Basic Nail Care to includue Manicues & Pedicures
Shellac nail application & Removals
Lash Lift Treatments
Customer Service Skills
Daily running of salon open/closing and cleanliness
