We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, Marcus P Graham Ironworks Ltd, for an experienced Steel Fabricator to join their team in Arklow, Co. Wicklow.

With a strong reputation for craftsmanship and precision engineering, the team works to exacting standards in a busy, professional workshop environment.

The Role
We are seeking an experienced Steel Fabricator on behalf of our client. The successful candidate will work from technical drawings to measure, cut, form, and assemble structural steel components to a high standard, operating a range of workshop machinery and carrying out MIG/Stick welding as required.

Key Responsibilities
•	Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
•	Measure, cut, drill, and shape steel components using hand tools and machinery
•	Assemble and weld fabricated parts (MIG/Stick as required)
•	Operate workshop equipment including semi-automatic bandsaw, ironworker, guillotine, press brake, mag drill, and MIG welder
•	Ensure all work meets quality standards and tolerances
•	Perform inspections and basic quality checks on finished products
•	Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
•	Follow all health and safety procedures and site regulations
•	Work collaboratively with supervisors, engineers, and production staff
•	Record job progress and materials usage

Skills & Experience Required
•	Proven experience in steel fabrication or a similar trade
•	Ability to read and work from technical drawings
•	Welding experience (certification an advantage)
•	Strong understanding of fabrication processes and workshop practices
•	Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
•	Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Hours of Work
Standard full-time hours, Monday to Friday. Specific hours will be confirmed at offer stage.
