Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

To register your interest you can contact an Employment Personal Advisor (EPA) in your local Intreo Centre.

Applicants should supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.



Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. 

Bus escorting duties based out of Thurles or Nenagh. Care duties in our Adult Day Services building at Semple Stadium in Thurles or at our day services in Nenagh. Assisting service owners access services in the local community. Personal assistance for service users in the areas of toileting, feeding. assisting with the general upkeep of all centre facilities and complying with all relevant health and safety standards. Escort on Enable Ireland buses or other transport. Driving duties may be allocated if applicant has a full B license (not compulsory). 
Work days of Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. 
19.5 hours total.
Any other appropriated duties.
