We are looking for a Chef to lead a busy kitchen for the summer season on Clare Island. This person must be someone who thrives in a busy, high energy environment.

The applicant must have: -

Proven experience in a reputable restaurant or hospitality establishment (minimum 2 years)
Ability to multi-task effectively and work under pressure
HACCP experience is essential
Highly organised with a high level of attention to detail
A good financial awareness and mindfulness of wastage
Hard working and good positive attitude is a must

Duties include: -
Ensuring food is delivered consistently and to the highest quality at all times
Create and develop innovative menus, dishes and specials
Cost control, waste control, ordering
Maintain kitchen hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards at all times
Collaborate with front-of-house to ensure smooth service delivery
