Job Description

ADS retail investments limited is seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our retail store in Dublin.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the store, managing staff, maintaining stock levels, improving customer service standards, and supporting the overall growth and performance of the business.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day operations of the retail store.
Supervise, train, and support retail staff to ensure high standards of customer service.
Monitor stock levels, place orders, and manage supplier relationships.
Ensure products are displayed correctly and the store is clean, organised, and well presented.
Handle customer queries, complaints, and service-related matters in a professional manner.
Monitor sales performance and assist in achieving business targets.
Maintain accurate records relating to stock, sales, staff hours, and daily operations.
Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety standards, and relevant retail regulations.
Assist with staff scheduling, recruitment support, and performance management.
Report regularly to management regarding store performance and operational matters.

Qualifications and Skills

Diploma in Retail, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field is required.
At least 2 years’ experience in retail management or retail operations.
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Excellent problem-solving ability with a customer-focused approach.
Ability to manage staff, stock control, suppliers, and daily store operations.
Competence in POS systems and basic financial reporting is preferred.
