Halberg PM Limited are currently recruiting Carpenters to join their team at 5 Victoria Road, Cork. 

The salary range is €36,605 (€18.05 per hour) to €64,000 (€31.56 per hour), based on a 39-hour working week. Salary may be more based on experience and will increase proportionately if additional hours are required. Salary offered shall be based on relevant experience and qualifications.

Role Overview

The Carpenter will carry out first-fix, second-fix, and finishing carpentry across new builds, renovations, extensions, and social housing projects. This role is suited to a skilled tradesperson who takes pride in craftsmanship and can contribute to the delivery of high-quality projects.

Key Responsibilities
Perform first-fix carpentry including structural framing, roofing, joists, partitions, and formwork
Complete second-fix carpentry including doors, skirting, architraves, kitchens, and finishing works
Read and interpret drawings, plans, and specifications
Measure, cut, fit, and install timber and other materials to required tolerances
Carry out snagging and finishing works to a high standard
Coordinate with site teams and other trades to maintain programme schedules
Ensure works are delivered in line with quality standards and building regulations
Maintain tools, materials, and work areas in a safe and organised condition
Support renovation and upgrade works on occupied or live environments where required
Report issues affecting quality, safety, or progress to management
Essential Requirements
Qualified Carpenter or time-served equivalent
Safe Pass
Manual Handling certification
Proven experience in residential or commercial construction
Strong knowledge of first-fix and second-fix carpentry
Ability to work from technical drawings
High attention to finish quality
Strong work ethic and reliability
