Social Care Lead – Day Services

Locations: North Tipperary / South Offaly
Hours: Permanent Part-Time (35 Hours per Week)

The Role
3Q Recruitment is recruiting for a Social Care Lead to support Day Services across North Tipperary and South Offaly. This is a structured, leadership-focused role within a regulated environment supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities.

You will lead day-to-day operations, support staff, and ensure high standards of care, safety, and service delivery in line with HIQA requirements and best practice.

Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day leadership, supervision, and support to Social Care staff
Ensure delivery of person-centred, rights-based supports
Support individuals with daily activities, life skills, and community participation
Lead individual planning, reviews, and goal setting
Maintain a safe, hygienic, and compliant service environment
Ensure all practices meet HIQA standards and organisational policies
Support management of behaviours of concern using structured approaches
Promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive working environment
Maintain accurate records and documentation

Requirements
Level 7 or higher in a CORU-recognised Social Care qualification
Full clean driving licence (manual)
Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities
Strong understanding of person-centred care and community inclusion
Good communication and organisational skills
High standard of English (written and spoken)
Garda Vetting is mandatory for relevant roles.
International Police Clearance is required where a candidate has lived or worked outside Ireland for 6 months or more since the age of 16

Desirable;
Experience supporting behaviours of concern
Knowledge of HIQA standards and regulations
Previous leadership or supervisory experience

Salary & Benefits:
€40,851 – €57,217 (pro-rata, based on experience)
Permanent, part-time contract (35 hours per week)
