Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. 

Caretaker will; Open and Close the building when required operating an intruder alarm system. Supervise the use of the Carpark and Sports Hall/Room Rental while occupied by Centre users. Set up Sports Hall & Meeting Rooms depending on customer needs. Manage the heating system. Maintain and oversee the upkeep of the building. Keep internal and external areas clean, i.e. sweeping, hoovering, mopping, cleaning windows, emptying bins, weeding, power washing, painting. Carry out light maintenance repairs, i.e. oiling locks, bleeding radiators, changing bulbs.
