Employer & Location: Caremark, Galway, H91V2R7 Salary: € 32691 per annum Hours per week: 39 Job Description Assist service users with dressing, bathing, toileting, and getting in/out of bed. Support mobility and physical disabilities, including use of aids. Help sick or terminally ill clients with feeding and personal care. Encourage mental and physical activities such as hobbies and outings. Perform light housekeeping, bed making, and laundry duties. Prepare and serve light meals. Maintain records and write reports. Follow company policies and procedures. Report changes in clients’ health to supervisors. Promote independence and dignity of service users. Senior Care and Support Worker Responsibilities Provide emergency on-call support. Mentor and guide care workers. Conduct introductory visits and spot checks. Collect documents from service users’ homes. Assist supervisors with trained duties. Requirements Minimum 1 year relevant experience in healthcare, homecare, or a similar care setting A recognised qualification in healthcare (e.g., Healthcare Assistant, Nursing, Allied health or Social Care) is desirable Driving required Good level of English Ability to work independently and as part of a team Compassionate, reliable, and professional approach to care Additional Information Training and induction will be provided Garda vetting required Applicants must be willing to travel to clients’ homes.
