About the Role:
Due to continued expansion, Kerry Mechanical Engineering (KME), based in Kilmorna, Co. Kerry, is seeking an experienced Steel Bandsaw Operator with Fabrication experience to join our growing team.

With over 25 years of industry experience, KME specialises in high-end steel fabrication and engineering services. Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate bandsaw equipment to cut steel and other materials to specification.
Read and interpret fabrication and production drawings.
Use hand tools and measuring equipment to ensure accurate cutting and finishing.
Inspect finished components to ensure quality and accuracy standards are met.
Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies.
Monitor and maintain steel stock and inventory levels.
Keep the work area clean, safe, and organised.
Ensure completed work orders are correctly labelled and stored.
Work both independently and as part of a team
Requirements:

Previous experience as a bandsaw operator or in a similar fabrication/manufacturing role.
Experience with Steel Fabrication
Experience operating a forklift.
Strong written and spoken English.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
Reliable, punctual, and a strong work ethic
Desirable:

Previous experience in a similar role within a fabrication or engineering environment
