We are looking for an Experienced Window and Door Fitter to join our team based in Westmeath. The Role: Measuring and fitting windows accurately into window openings, ensuring proper sealing and alignment. Carry out finishing work such as plastering around window openings, fitting window boards, and applying cover or trim boards. Handling and transporting windows, frames, and other materials to and from the worksite. Using hand tools and power tools, such as drills, saws, and caulking guns, to cut, shape, and install window components. Applying weatherproofing and insulation materials to ensure windows are sealed and energy-efficient. Removing old windows and frames and replace them with new ones, performing repairs when necessary. Experience: Previous experience fitting windows and doors. Knowledge of window installation techniques, measurements, and tools. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various types of windows and doors. Good communication skills for working with clients, team members, and supervisors. A valid driving license and any relevant trade certifications. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Benefits: Company pension On-site parking
