Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Ballyhoura Rural Services are recruiting Community Support Workers in the Mitchelstown Area. The ideal candidate should have a real interest in people, be a good communicator and be self-motivated. Positions are available including roles which involve visiting clients on a one to one basis in their own homes, their own communities, chatting with them, assisting them on walks or accompanying them on outings/shopping trips. Full clean driving licence is essential.
