ArchHealth is recruiting a Person in Charge (PIC) on behalf of our client for residential disability services in Castlebar and Ballinrobe.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Social Care professional seeking a well-supported leadership role within a structured, person-centred organisation that genuinely prioritises quality care, staff wellbeing, and professional development.

You will work closely with senior management and multidisciplinary teams to support high-quality, person-centred service delivery while maintaining a strong work-life balance.

About the Role
As PIC, you will oversee the day-to-day operation of residential disability services while supporting service users to achieve meaningful and independent lives within their communities.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading and supporting staff teams
Maintaining HIQA compliance and service standards
Supporting care planning and individual outcomes
Promoting dignity, inclusion, and independence
Supporting safeguarding and high-quality care practices
Building positive relationships with families and multidisciplinary teams
Ensuring responsive and person-centred service delivery

Requirements
Level 7 qualification in Social Care or equivalent
CORU registration or active CORU application
Minimum 3 years’ supervisory/management experience within social care or disability services
Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
Full clean driving licence
Eligibility to work in Ireland
(Visa sponsorship is not available for this role)
