Job Title: Electrical Panel Wirer
Employer: Vertiv / E+I Engineering
Location: Burnfoot, Slab Road, Burnfoot, Donegal, Ireland
Salary: €37,544 per year
Working Hours: 40 hours per week

Role Overview:
Vertiv is seeking an experienced Electrical Panel Wirer to join its manufacturing team in Co. Donegal.
The role involves wiring, fitting, testing and modifying LV/MV switchgear and electrical control panels based on engineering drawings, wiring diagrams and technical specifications.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out electrical panel wiring, component installation, testing and fault identification while maintaining high standards of safety, quality and technical workmanship.
This is a skilled electrical trade role requiring experience in electrical panel wiring, schematic interpretation and electrical troubleshooting.
 
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and engineering drawings.
- Carry out electrical wiring and fitting of LV/MV switchgear and control panels.
- Install, route, terminate and connect electrical cables and components.
- Assemble and fit electrical and electromechanical components according to technical specifications.
- Perform electrical testing, including current injection testing and continuity checks.
- Identify and report electrical faults, wiring issues and defective components.
- Carry out electrical modifications, repairs and onsite support work where required.
- Use electrical tools and testing equipment safely and accurately.
- Maintain high standards of safety, quality and technical workmanship.
- Support prototype and custom-build panel projects when required.
- Follow company safety procedures, RAMS and technical work instructions.

Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience in electrical panel wiring or electrical fitting.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
- Experience wiring and installing electrical components and control panels.
- Knowledge of electrical troubleshooting and fault identification.
- Experience using electrical hand tools and testing equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe electrical working practices.
- Previous experience in electrical maintenance, panel installation or electromechanical systems.

Desirable Requirements:
- Experience in LV/MV switchgear manufacturing.
- Experience carrying out electrical testing and commissioning activities.
- Experience with onsite electrical installation or service work.
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Familiarity with RAMS and health and safety procedures.
