Employer: O’ Regan Slipfrom Kerbing Ltd Location: Limerick, Ireland Salary: €36,605 per annum Hours: 39 hours per week Contract: Full-time Published: 22/05/2026 O’ Regan Slipfrom Kerbing Ltd is seeking to employ a Site Engineer to work on civil engineering and concrete works projects in Limerick. The successful candidate will assist with the planning, setting out, supervision and delivery of site works, with a particular focus on slipform kerbing, concrete paving, concrete finishing, groundworks, drainage, levels, measurements and quality control on civil engineering projects. Main duties Duties will include: Setting out and checking levels for kerbing, concrete works, paving and associated civil engineering works. Assisting with the coordination and supervision of site activities, plant, labour and subcontractors. Reading and interpreting drawings, specifications and site plans. Monitoring concrete works to ensure accuracy, quality, line, level, finish and compliance with project requirements. Maintaining site records, measurements, progress reports and quality documentation. Liaising with site management, clients, contractors and suppliers. Ensuring works are carried out safely and in accordance with health and safety procedures. Assisting with materials ordering, site measurements and day-to-day project delivery. Requirements Applicants must have relevant experience in a similar Site Engineer, Civil Engineer, Site Technician or construction/civil engineering role. Experience in civil engineering works, concrete works, kerbing, slipform kerbing, paving, groundworks or roadworks is required. Applicants should be able to read construction drawings, use setting-out equipment, check levels and measurements, and work effectively on active construction sites. Good communication, organisational and problem-solving skills are required. A relevant civil engineering, construction or site engineering qualification is desirable, but equivalent practical experience in a similar position will be considered.
