The Shaw Commercials Group is currently recruiting for experienced LCV Mechanics and LCV Supervisors to join our busy workshop in Castlebar.

Perform routine servicing, preventative maintenance, and mechanical repairs on light commercial vehicles. 
Diagnose electrical, engine, transmission, braking, steering, suspension, and hydraulic system faults using diagnostic equipment and technical manuals. 
Carry out engine repairs, gearbox and transmission repairs, clutch replacement, brake repairs, and mechanical overhauls. 
Inspect vehicles and complete mechanical testing to identify faults and ensure roadworthiness. 
Adjust, repair, and replace defective vehicle systems, components, and parts. Conduct electrical troubleshooting and fault-finding using modern diagnostic software and tools. 
Perform incidental welding operations and general fabrication work where required. Operate power tools, hand tools, lifting equipment, and workshop machinery safely and effectively. 
Complete service reports, repair documentation, and workshop records accurately. Ensure all work is completed in compliance with manufacturer specifications, company procedures, and health and safety regulations. 
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment. 
Support and provide guidance to apprentices and junior workshop staff where required. 
Work collaboratively with workshop management and other team members to achieve operational targets and maintain high-quality service standards. 
Deliver professional customer service and maintain positive working relationships.
